We’ve had our sights set on a Big Sur Bikepacking trip, and Cory’s new Scrambler was done in time for the trip. Unfortunately, Big Sur was at the tail end of a forest fire and another got going… so the Forest and some of the roads remain closed. We’ll get out for that trip in the spring, but in the mean time, Cory’s been enjoying some nice fall weather on our local fire roads on her new bike. She’s also got an Adventure Road bike, but for venturing onto more rugged roads, she opted for a flat bar gravel bike.
This build is executed in Titanium with a special finish that matches the new custom Caletti Kits that Rapha made for us. The Chris King Matte Mango headset, bottom bracket and hubs are a great color compliment to the blues and lava orange of the frame, fork and stem.
Tires are Schwalbe G One bite in 700×50 on Jones Precision carbon gravel wheels. Drivetrain is Sram Eagle with 12 speed 10-50T cassette, Praxis cranks, Magura brakes, Enve seatpost, painted Easton EA90SL Stem, Selle Italia Diva saddle, and titanium King cages finished to match.
