It’s that time of year again, Cyclocross season has begun and the Grinduro is this weekend.
Also, the parks are getting a little quieter as the tourists leave town and the weather cools, which can make it even more fun to escape to some quiet dirt roads out in Big Basin park north of Santa Cruz.
My bike of choice for all these endeavors is the Scrambler. Much faster on smoother dirt and pavement than my mountain bike, and the flat bars make it much easier to bunny hop, wheelie and ride technical trails.
