Sean’s Titanium Gravel Bike
Sean finally pulled the trigger on that shreddy new Titanium Gravel bike he’s been dreaming about. Those thick 43mm tires on the new, light and wide Enve Gravel wheels will eat up the bumpy fire roads. He got a new fit from 3D Bike Fit in San Francisco, which has improved his efficiency, comfort and power output. I designed his new frame based on his fit/setup along with contemporary Gravel geometry fine tuned to his needs. The wheels are quite remarkable, so light and stiff : really a superb option from Enve for Gravel bikes. Sean went with the ever-popular 1x drivetrain option, as well as a dropper post that we routed in the seat tube and is controlled by the modified left shifter.
The finish design arose from notes from Sean on wanting to capture maps and riding routes that transition from the tighter grid network of the city to the winding rural roads and trails. Our graphic designer Peter created a great layout that even references some local roads in our neighborhood. We used a “Sunset” gradient color in the anodized graphics that came out really great. Sean’s already sent in pictures from dirt road mountain tops near his home in the East Bay, with a sunset in the background – what a match for the finish design!
