Titanium 1×1 SCRAMBLER
This one headed to the East Coast, and to survive commuting in all weather the rider opted for Titanium, as it won’t rust or corrode. Being a tall bike, we went for the 44mm shaped down tube to add stiffness and strength. Rocker dropouts easily allow for a single speed setup with the option to run gears later on if desired.
As usual we have sourced most of the parts right here in the US, including Chris King headset and hubs, Wheelsmith spokes, Velocity rims, Thomsen stem and post, White Industries crankset and a Spurcycle bell – ding! ding! Wheels built by our buddy John Jones at Jones Precision wheels.
It was really exciting to anodize the Scrambler graphics – I’m really loving the way this came out, and are doing a lot of color anodized finish details on titanium frames these days.
