The SCRAMBLER

The SCRAMBLER is our 100% fun, versatile ripper. It’s equally adept to rip around town as a single speed as it is to grind out the Grinduro gravel race when configured as a 1×11. This bike is capable of turning a coffee run into an all day adventure. Available in sizes small through XL, the SCRAMBLER is the ultimate, Jekyll & Hyde whip.

The build kits emphasize durable performance parts that are made in the USA. It features legendary Chris King headset & hubs, Thomson stem and post, Handbuilt wheels, Shimano XT disc brakes, over-sized Columbus Life premium steel tube set, ENVE Composites fork, thru-axles, Spurcycle bell and more.

This is the bike I’ve dreamed of building for years. I’m excited to finally have the project live and the bikes going out into the wild. The vision was to add fun to utility riding. I wanted a bike that didn’t just get the across town commute done, but one that does it with style, efficiency and fun. It has an extra card to play—it’s ready for taking the long way home, be it pavement or dirt. The tire and wheel size is just right. The combination is fast and efficient with enough volume to float over broken roads or getting off the road. The fit is designed around a comfortable swept back flat bar, with the correct cockpit length that can’t be had by slapping a flat bar on a bike made for drop bars. The handling is nimble, the brakes strong and controlled, the oversize and size specific tubing provides snappy acceleration, but the high strength premium tubing is light enough to keep the weight low and ride quality excellent. The Paragon Rocker dropouts are a fantastic aspect of the bike. They allow for thru axles and a tucked in disc brake in a clean and simple single speed setup; but with a change of insert you can convert the bike to use a 1 x 11 drivetrain or an internally geared hub if you want to add gears down the road. This bike checks all the boxes for my ideal fun town bike. I look forward to many miles of smiles aboard this bike, and I hope you do too. It has been a pleasure to bring it to you.
